What This Page Covers

This applies to data collected through:

• The enquiry/contact form and chat assistant on itechfixr.com
• WhatsApp conversations with our support number
• Instagram or Facebook comment-to-DM interactions with our pages
• Any other Meta app operated by iTechFixr Infotech LLP

How to Request Deletion

Option 1 — Email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." In the body, include:

• The phone number, email address, or Instagram/Facebook handle you used when contacting us
• Which service you want deleted (website enquiry, WhatsApp, Instagram/Facebook, or "all")

Option 2 — WhatsApp

Send a WhatsApp message to +91 89761 95477 saying "Delete my data," along with the email or phone number you originally contacted us with.

We will confirm receipt of your request and let you know once it is complete.

Removing iTechFixr From Your Facebook or Instagram Account

If you want to stop our Instagram/Facebook comment-to-DM tool from being able to message you, you can remove the app connection directly from your own account:

On Instagram or Facebook (mobile app)

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Apps and Websites (found under Security, or under Accounts Center depending on your app version)
3. Find iTechFixr in the list of active apps
4. Tap Remove

On Facebook (desktop)

1. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
2. Click Apps and Websites
3. Find iTechFixr, select it, and click Remove

Removing the app stops any future automated messages from us. To delete data we already hold about you, submit a request using the steps above.

What Gets Deleted

Once we verify and process your request, we delete:

• Your contact details and enquiry/message content from our lead database
• Your conversation history with our website chat assistant
• Your WhatsApp conversation history with our support number, where technically possible within Meta's platform
• Any Instagram/Facebook comment-to-DM conversation data tied to your account

What We May Retain, and Why

We may keep a limited amount of information even after a deletion request, where the law requires it:

• Invoices and billing records are retained for up to 8 years to comply with Indian tax and accounting law, even if you ask us to delete other data.
• Records tied to an active legal or compliance matter are retained only until that matter is resolved.

Anything we retain for these reasons is kept solely for that purpose and is not used for marketing or any other purpose.

Timeline

• We acknowledge every deletion request within 72 hours.
• We complete the deletion, except for the legally required retention described above, within 30 days.
• If we need more information to verify your identity or locate your data, we will contact you using the details you provided.
