Privacy Policy
iTechFixr Infotech LLP ("iTechFixr," "we," "us," or "our") operates itechfixr.com and provides cybersecurity training, VAPT and DPDP compliance consulting, and IT repair and retail services. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you interact with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who We Are
iTechFixr Infotech LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India, operating from Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra. You can reach us at [email protected] or +91 89761 95477.
Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out our contact form, chat with our website assistant, or message us on WhatsApp, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Organisation or company name
- The service you are enquiring about
- The message or requirement details you type in
If you use our in-person IT repair or retail services, we also collect the contact details and device information needed to log, diagnose, and invoice the job.
Information collected automatically
- IP address — used briefly to prevent spam and abuse on our forms and chat (rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile bot verification). This is not linked to your name or stored beyond what is needed for that check.
- Local browser storage — we use your browser's local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and to avoid showing the same announcement banner repeatedly. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not currently run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising tracker on itechfixr.com.
Cybersecurity Maturity Quiz
If you take our Cybersecurity Maturity Quiz, your answers and score are calculated in your browser only. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to tap the WhatsApp button at the end, which opens a pre-filled message with your score for you to send yourself.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote or proposal
- Qualify inbound leads (see "AI Tools" below) and route them to the right person on our team
- Deliver the training, audit, or repair service you have asked for
- Send you the confirmation and follow-up emails related to your enquiry
- Meet our own legal and tax record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the above without asking you first.
AI Tools We Use to Process Enquiries
Our website's chat assistant and lead-qualification workflow use AI models from Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) to draft replies and summarise enquiries for our team. The text you type into the contact form or chat widget is sent to these providers to generate a response. This automated processing helps us reply faster; a member of our team reviews every quote or proposal before it goes out.
WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook
- WhatsApp — the "Send Enquiry via WhatsApp" button on our site opens a pre-filled message in your own WhatsApp app, addressed to our support number. That conversation is then handled through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, the same way any WhatsApp conversation with a business works.
- Instagram / Facebook — if you comment on one of our posts using a specific keyword, our account may send you an automatic direct message in reply, using Meta's official comment-to-DM tooling. We only see the comment and the DM conversation that follows — we do not gain access to your full Instagram or Facebook profile.
See our Data Deletion page for how to remove this connection or request deletion of this data.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share personal data only with the service providers who help us run our business, and only for the purpose of providing our services:
- Cloudflare — hosts our website and provides security services (DDoS protection, bot verification, and temporary rate-limiting)
- Supabase — stores enquiry and lead records submitted through our contact form and chat assistant
- Resend — sends the confirmation and notification emails related to your enquiry
- Anthropic and Google — process the text of your enquiry or chat messages to help draft a response, as described above
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — operates the WhatsApp Business Platform and the Instagram/Facebook messaging tools described above
We do not share your data with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website does not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, may set a small number of essential cookies needed to complete bot verification on our forms and keep the site secure. Your browser's local storage is used only for the on-device preferences described above.
Data Retention
We keep enquiry and lead records for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain a record of the engagement, and invoices or billing records for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently up to 8 years). You can ask us to delete your data earlier — see our Data Deletion page.
Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to erase your data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Withdraw consent for any processing that relies on your consent
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "DPDP Rights Request."
Data Security
We limit access to enquiry and lead data to the team members who need it to respond to you. Our forms are protected against automated abuse through Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limiting, and data sent to our service providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Children's Data
Our website is intended for businesses, institutions, and adults. Our Digital Safety Seminars run in schools and colleges are delivered in person through the institution, and any student data involved — such as attendance records — is collected and handled by arrangement with the school, not through this website.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or the data we collect change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer can be reached at:
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone/WhatsApp: +91 89761 95477
We aim to acknowledge grievances within 72 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
